The Provincial Infection Control Network’s Advisory Committee Members are appointed by and represent their Health Authority, professional organization, or discipline. They represent a wide cross-section of professional expertise, and each member comes to the table with specific knowledge and experience in the varied physical and institutional environments across British Columbia.
The role of the PICNet Advisory Committee is to provide PICNet's Co-Directors with advice and strategic direction, and to provide expert guidance for both provincial and Health Authority best practice for infection prevention and control.
Advisory Committee Members are appointed for three year terms. Membership includes representatives from the following areas:

British Columbia Centre for Disease Control
British Columbia Ministry of Health Services (non-voting)
Community & Hospital Infection Control Association - BC (CHICA-BC)
Health Officer's Council (Public Health)
Infection Control Practitioners/Managers
Infectious Disease Specialists
Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare in BC (OHSAH)
Occupational Health Physicians
Occupational Health Directors
One representative from each Health Authority and Providence Health Care
PICNet Co-Directors
PICNet Management Office Representatives (non-voting)
