As a networking collaborative, it is imperative that members of PICNet's Community of Practice is able to come together from across the province to learn from each other the full scope of PICNet's many projects and activities, and also to help set direction for future endeavours. Since 2005, PICNet has been the proud host of four Educational Conference and three Stakeholder Summits. PICNet has also hosted several educational events to share knowledge and pomote infection prevtention and control across British Columbia.

• Protecting the Health of Health Care Workers: A Global Perspective (October 25, 2007)
  PICNet worked in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), and the University of British Columbia (UBC) to coordinate and host a one-day workshop
